Royal Arms and Where to Find Them

Royal Arms are the powerful weapons from the previous King of Lucis. There are 13 known Royal Arms in the game hidden in the Royal Tombs. Royal Arms play a significant part in the Final Fantasy XV series and involve in many game main story quests.

Royal Arms can be equipped by only Noctis granting him the power of the past king. In compensation to their great power, they consume the wielder life force, HP in this case. Once the third Royal Arms, the Sword of the Wanderer, is unlocked, Noctis acquires a new combat mechanic, his ultimate Armiger ability.

Some Royal Arms can be found completely outside of the main story quests in the open world. They are mostly located in the deepest part of the dungeon.
